  • In 1968, Ray Olecko of Lamont, Alberta was ignited with the idea of engineering a light-weight camper fit for the needs of a small family.

    Recalling his days wearing a classic bowler hat as a carnival barker, Ray’s idea to name his fiberglass camper ‘boler’ took shape. Honing in on his clientele, Ray considered that a capital “B” might appear pretentious and scare off potential buyers. Thus “boler” was born.

    With only 10,000 produced between 1968 - 1988, stumbling across a Love Bug at a camp site is very rare.

    Fitted with the most authentic parts available, our boler Love Bug mobile bar begs to be in photos and never fails to make an impression.
